If there are, David Foster must be one of the finest. Marilyn Monroe, Jimi Hendrix, Steve McQueen, David Bowie and many others have all been subjected to this ultra-tactile form of art. This is a must-see and an opportunity to meet the artist and talk about his remarkable process of creating images out of nails. "I have always been fascinated with how little information the brain needs to interpret a picture, and love the simplicity of a pictune made up from just dots". What began with a pen eventually evolved into a hammer and nails. David now uses many thousands of tiny nails that enable the viewer to see and interpret the work more closely and in detail.
